I've been off for some time. There are always ups and downs in my life.

A few colleagues and ex-colleagues got sacked last week, so I wasn't in the mood for posting anything.

Dark clouds were hanging over my head, but now I'm up to normal standards again.

It's hard to think about issues like these, if one is responsible for a wife and two kids.

Today I'll trust my business casual get-up: Chinos, a shirt and a navy jacket sans tie.
Good enough to meet an old friend of my ex-Media Agency.

Same look as yesterday but with different clothes.

Today's my son's Kindergarten graduation party with church service and performance of a play.

So I kind of dressed up, but even though I do not wear a tie I guess I'll still stand out among all those sloppy dressed dads...

Navy Hopsack jacket by Suitsupply.

Dockers Chinos. Yes, Dockers is quite ok in Germany. But I think I'll go for some Donnelly's.

Bass Buchanon. Impossible to get in Germany right now. Bought them 2 years ago at Zalando.

Pal Zileri pocket square.

My new jacket by Suitsupply!

I woke up this morning with a picture in my mind: A new navy jacket for summer.

So during lunch break I went to our Suitsupply store to check out if the guys could make my wish come true.

After trying on a few jackets which did not fit quite well, my trusted salesman Daniel went to the storage place to search the stock.

He came back with this jewel:

An unlined navy pure wool jacket in a nice Birdseye (or Hopsack?) weave. -> Would please somebody tell me the difference?

I put it on and it fit like a glove.

Well done Daniel!!!

And thank you for the great suit sack and the nice hanger!
