This little fella did a hell of a job on Saturday. I've cleaned our terrace, the terracotta tiles and the roof of the car port.
Doesn't he look like some kind of Transformer?
I've started my day at 0500 hours to do 45 minutes of running.
7°C and a little drizzle.
After a busy (house and garden maintenance) weekend with sunny skies, the week starts with grey clouds.
Just like my sweater.
Hey! A coincidence?

Vintage sports jacket at Torquato
Another working day in Düsseldorf and enough time for me to stroll around Kö. My way led me to Torquato, one of my favorite shops when it comes to true quality products.
They offer a pretty cool Covert Coat by Magee I'd like to buy for the springtime but that's a different story...
I was lucky enough to run into Torquato's Managing Director, dressed as dapper as ever.
Please take a closer look at his moleskin trousers and his vintage Mark Marengo sports jacket with slant pockets and a beautiful check.
Btw: He'll spend the next weekend in London for some sale shopping. I must confess that I'm a little bit envious...

Rain: How to protect your shoes.
Dear readers,
fall/autumn in Germany means rain. And I mean very annoying, splashing rain. It's nice if you can stay at home with a hot cup of tea, but if you have to go to work, there's nothing romantic about it.
My main problem with rain is, how to protect my leather soled footwear from getting soaking wet? Here's the solution I found in an amazing store called Torquato (if you do follow this blog from time to time you'll know what I mean). Torquato offers galoshes of a norwegian company called Swims.
They come in different colors and are pretty easy to put on your shoes. Swims feature a great grip on slippery surfaces, a tear resistance and lots of other things.
I'll tryt them the next days and weeks and tell you my insights.
Here are a few pictures:
