Be social

Dear readers,

I'm back on my blog.

In the last couple of weekends I was putting some work in my new Instagram account (you'll find the link here and on the right side bar).

Starting on Saturday, I'll participate in an advanced training (4 entire weekends in total) to become a certified Social Media Manager. So I'm pretty curious about the things I'll learn and how to implement them into my daily working routine.

The other great news is that I've started to write my first book about business clothing for men.
Due to my lack of financial funds, I will publish it as an ebook. I'll try to finish it by the end of this year.
But I'll keep you posted!

Here's today's get-up:

Shirt, sweater, chinos, boat shoes. Nothing special but far from a classic business clothes.

Have a nice day and have fun!

Back in Düsseldorf. Wearing blue colours again and a great paper bank find!

I'm in steel blue, navy and some brown colours today.

You might know that I'm a big fan of the BBC series "All Creatures Big And Small".
And I try to watch one episode of my DVD box every night.

But I wanted to go deeper and maybe invest in the original stories by James Herriot, so I ended up checking Amazon and Ebay for offers.

So when I went to the paper bank yesterday, I noticed quite a lot of books right on top.

And three of them were the old German books of James Herriot, dated 1979.

How can anyone even think such books are rubbish?

Anyway, I'm pretty excited to read these old stories!

2.75 hours commute to work this morning. Well done to me!

Due to heavy snow fall, the Autobahn was packed this morning.

20, 30 and 40 kilometers of Stau and me in the middle of it.

But now I'm safe and sound in the office, checking emails and getting things done.

Today's get-up is totally boring: Chinos, checked button down shirt, shetlad sweater and Timberlad shoes.

Yuck!

Hm, broken iron?

Temperatures below zero Celsius: Pea coat today

A sailor can't go wrong. If you're cold, you need to wear a pea coat.

Business trip to Munich and WIWT.

Monday and Tuesday I've been to Munich to attend at our company's "Digital Marketing Camp".

Learning content was Internet related stuff like Display, SEO, SEA, Video Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Native Advertising and Social Media.

Truly incredible how to make easy money on the Internet! I've learned insights you wouldn't believe!

Here's Monday's get-up:

Tweed, Cashmere and Chinos. No big deal.

Munich at night from Arabella Sheraton's 21st floor

The Alps next morning. What a view!

I didn't take pictures of Tuesday's WIWT, as it was the same as the day before only with different colours.

Here's today's relaxed get-up:

Office Christmas Party Tonight!

No Christmas party attire, you wonder?

At 1800 hours we'll have a dinner at the office and after that, we're gonna play bowls. Not quite festive.

Because of that I neither wear a tie, nor a Christmas sweater (we don't have this tradition in Germany yet).

Disappointed? I'm sorry!

Besides that, today will be the last day of work this year. Starting tomorrow, I'll be a husband and father 24/7 until the 5th of January.

But don't you worry! My posts will continue during this time. But there gonna be more Christmas related :-)

The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side.

Last night, I was watching the first movie of the Miss Marple Collection:
"The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side".

Absolutely brilliant! And just like the novel I read during my Autumn vacation at Tegernsee lake.

Today I trust my cords, and OCBD and a cashmere mix sweater.
