Spider-Man and WIWT.

Yesterday arrived my son's new costume for Karneval.

Very impressive!

But I wonder why those costumes always come without gloves...

I'd like to buy a deluxe costume for myself! With all the bells and whistles!

Spider-Man, Spider-Man,
Does whatever a spider can.
Spins a web, any size.
Catches thieves - just like flies.
Look out! Here comes the Spider-Man.

Here's todays get-up: Cashmere blend and chinos.

Impressions of Düsseldorf on my way to my favourite cobbler. Hummer H1.

I had to pick up my Chukka boots from my cobbler during lunch time.

Here are some impressions of what caught my eye.

I want this car! Right now!

HUMMER H1. The one and only SUV!

American understatement.

A copy of Charlie Hebdo at a small kiosk (in Düsseldorf's wealthiest borough Oberkassel).

Oberkasseler Brücke and Rheinturm

Part of Düsseldorf's skyline (view from Oberkassel).

Yesterday Frankfurt, today Düsseldorf.

Another business meeting yesterday. I went to Frankfurt by car which took about 2.5 hours.

Here are a two impressions of our German Gotham:

Today I'm back on my desk, dressed in my well-known Winter armour: Shetland sweater, but chinos instead of corduroy and my new Clarks boots.

It looks like this:

Spruce L.L.Bean Shetland sweater.

Navy chinos by Dockers.

Wool-lined boots by Clarks.

Heavy broguing.

2.75 hours commute to work this morning. Well done to me!

Due to heavy snow fall, the Autobahn was packed this morning.

20, 30 and 40 kilometers of Stau and me in the middle of it.

But now I'm safe and sound in the office, checking emails and getting things done.

Today's get-up is totally boring: Chinos, checked button down shirt, shetlad sweater and Timberlad shoes.

Yuck!

Hm, broken iron?

Star Wars Exhibition with my son.

On Sunday, I went to Mönchengladbach with my son, to visit the permanent Star Wars exhibition.

He like it pretty much, but was also a bit frightened of the lifesize moving C3PO.

Here are a few impression.

Lifesize moving C3PO

Lifesize Yoda

Lifesize Han Solo and a rather disfigured Chewy.
