1st of June: Another day in the office.

Again, my weekend was packed with insights about the secrets of Social Media.

At the end of this month, I'll graduate from my training and will bear the titel "Social Media Manager IHK".

I'm pretty sure that this will help me to do a better job.

British get-up today. Sports. China Study.

I've started my day at 0515 hours for my morning exercise: 8 kilometers of running. I do this on Wednesdays and Fridays. And around 0900 hours on Saturdays or Sundays.

In the early morning, the world is still quiet, dark and peaceful. It's just me and my dog. And the creatures of the night, which live along the river Ruhr, our favorite running track.

Running really helps me to get in shape and to feel great.

Besides that, I've totally quit on meat and dairy, after reading the "China Study". 

But I don't live true vegan, as I still do eat honey and eggs (and sometimes fish), do wear leather shoes, belts and wool/cashmere clothes.

So if you care for clothes, you must care for your body as well!

Today's get-up is a mix of England, USA and France and consists of my first vintage Barbour Beaufort, a traditional L.L.Bean Norwegian sweater over a nice L.L.Bean Blackwatch flannel shirt, some corduroy trousers and my green Aigle wellies.

And a dog leash of course.

There's so much going on in my mind concerning my learnigs from Monday's and Tuesday's Digital Marketing Camp. And I'm sure that I'll find an idea how it will work for me.

Good news is that Düsseldorf's Media Academy wants me as a teacher starting this spring.
I'll give evening lessons about business clothes for men. So you can imagine that I'm pretty excited how everything will turn out.

Bean Boots: Eyelet quality issue?

Today we had our first St. Martin's Parade with my wife and our two kids. Their selfmade lanterns were so very nice!

When I got dressed against the cold, I noticed, that there's a difference concerning the eyelets of my 2 pairs of Bean Boots.

The eyelets of the first pair I bought in 2012 are 2 piece solids. The kind of those you press together with a special plier.

But the eyelets of my seconds pair (Thinsulated), ordered this year, seem to be a one piece with folded down edges.

I am not sure if this is a quality issue, but I don't like the look.
