Store check: Ermenegildo Zegna

Not much fashion going on today on Königsalle. So all I can offer you is a few shot of things to come for autumn at Zegna.

Besides: Maybe you'll find some nice thing at Zegna's sale.

Store check at GANT: First impressions of Autumn?

Jeez, this is a tiny tie. And they managed to put a dimple in it.
I like the shoes but I wouldn't really go for the pants. Would you?

On the street: The latest Longchamp bag

On Steinstraße/Königsallee I met this gentleman.

Today it wasn't really easy to spot anybody well dressed (1 hour lunch break isn't a lot of time), so it was such a relief when I saw him waiting at the traffic lights, wearing Bay Bans, red bermudas and the brand new Longchamp Cavalier shopper.

My holidays in Tuscany.

My dear readers,

I’m back from my holidays in Tuscany with my little family with a lot of great impressions of a wonderful landscape, excellent food and nice beaches. We spent our time near a nice medieval village called Castagneto Carducci which lies on a hill surrounded by green Macchia with pine and cypress trees and vineyards.

As we learned from our traveller’s companion, Castagneto Carducci reveals two specials.

Here’s the most interesting: Sartoria Arte e moda – A little bespoke tailor.

If you wouldn’t know about the existence of this little, exclusive bespoke tailor, you would simply pass by. No advertising, no company logo, only a small entrance.

You want your on of the famous jackets of the “Maremma Cowboys” or a suit made from scratch? Romanian émigré Tailor Florin Cristea is an old hand at outfitting country squires, Tuscan style and, of course, suits, coats, etc.

A suit starts at 1.500 Euro.

Enjoy the pictures.

Impressions of Tuscany.

I'd like to share some pictures of my holidays with you.
Enjoy.

Vacation

Dear readers,

due to my summer vacation I won't be posting for a couple of weeks.

I hope I can provide you with some stylish pics from Italy when I return.

Enjoy the summer!

On the street: Marvelous penny loafers.

The color of those Prada penny loafers is hard to explain. Something between light blue and white with an antique look. So great, especially with the white soles.

On the street: Caught during lunch break.

Patterned scarf, waistcoat, cuffed jeans and desert boots.

On the street: Bespoke jacket.

There is a special story about this gentleman:

Being a professional tailor, he made his beautiful jacket with his own hands! Since January he works in Düsseldorf for a tailor featured in Bernhard Roetzel's book "The Gentleman": Heinz-Josef Radermacher on Schadowplatz.

Take a closer look at the details of his jacket.

First picture: Sorry for the half-closed eyes! My mistake!
